We hosted the first of our webinars on family violence, in partnership with the Women's Legal Service and their Principal Solicitor, Elise Whitmore on November 25, 2021. You can find a recording of the webinar here.

This webinar is an introduction to family violence. It provides information to help identify the behaviours which constitute family violence, explain what protective orders are available to victim/survivors and what services can help family violence victim/survivors.

It also helps viewers identify red flags - behaviours that are concerning, but are not necessarily family violence.

This webinar will be followed with a second webinar, in 2022, which will cover issues for practice: reproductive coercion, non-fatal strangulation and responding to disclosures of family violence.
