After our popular webinar on vaccine hesitancy, we invited Public Health Physician Dr Shannon Melody back to talk to us about the issues that Tasmanians are asking about.

Here you can find a recording of the webinar, we held on September 28, 2021, discussing vaccines, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and children and youth.

The webinar:

• Discussed the issues around COVID infection and vaccination for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and for children and young people

• Discussed which communities in Tasmania are vaccinating at lower rates, and how we can help them access the vaccination program

• Provided answers to the most common questions being asked by Tasmanians calling the Public Health Hotline

• Provided helpful, community-friendly resources

The webinar consisted of about 40 minutes of presentation followed by 20 minutes of facilitated Q & A addressing queries raised by participants.

This webinar is of interest to workers in the community sector, the allied health sector and anyone in a position of community leadership.
