We’re a bit chuffed.
Women’s Health Tasmania has been nominated for a Community Achievement Award, and we’ve made it to the Semi-Finals. We’ve been nominated for the Physical Activity Award, a section of the Community Achievement Awards.
These awards encourage, acknowledge and reward the valuable contributions individuals, communities and business make around Tasmania.
Women’s Health Tasmania has been providing health promotion activities for women for 31 years; for many years as the Hobart Women’s Health Centre. We have always provided activities that meet the health needs of women, and we’ve focused our work on supporting women who might not be able to afford or get to health promotion events.
The awards will be announced on Friday 6th November.
